Twickenham Yacht Club held its annual Open Day on Sunday 9 June. After a wet and windy Saturday, sunshine and mild winds enabled TYC to offer its traditional hospitality along with sailing taster sessions in TYC dinghies from the Club pontoons and White Swan hard. Visitors were able to sample the tasty results of the TYC Annual Bake-off as well as lunch and light refreshments from the Club Bar.
While sailing taster sessions may not always be available, TYC always welcomes guests whenever our gates are open. Please just make yourselves known to a TYC member or introduce yourself behind the bar. TYC members are always happy to explain what the Club is all about and hopefully encourage all to enjoy the wonderful benefits of TYC membership on this fabulous stretch of the River Thames.
