We organise a few yachting events each year using a
combination of member owned boats and chartered
ones.
A typical weekend includes three days sailing (or two if
you have to work on Friday), sleeping on the boats for
two nights, cooking dinner on board on Friday and dining
ashore on Saturday.
If you have never been yachting this is a good way to try
it. There are plenty of competent sailors in the Club so
lack of experience is not a problem
In 2023 we are expanding our cruising range with a trip
to Cherbourg in September as well as a Solent sail in
May.
