Fun Had by All at TYC Annual Ball

Saturday night, 16 February, was a night of fun and prize-giving at Twickenham Yacht Club’s Annual Ball. His Worship, The Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Ben Khosa, The Lady Mayoress Mrs Jas Khosa, and sixty-seven TYC members and guests were greeted at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club with a welcome drink from TYC Commodore Mark Marston.

Thanks to the hard work of Michael O’Doherty and his TYC Social Committee team, the evening included a delicious carvery, fabulous gifts in the raffle, capped off by dancing to members’ favourite tunes, complete with disco balls! Highlight of the evening was the annual Sailing and Cruiser prize- giving, compered by Tom with delighted winners showing off their trophies.
