Notice to Mariners - Richmond Lock Exclusion Zone U18 of 2017

There have recently been an increasing number of incidents involving recreational vessels navigating through Richmond Lock, Weir and Footbridge while the weirs are being operated. For the safety of vessels and personnel, an exclusion zone has subsequently been established at Richmond Footbridge, Lock and Weir from the extremities of the Lock islands in a line across the river to the Middlesex shore as illustrated in the chartlet above.
