Paddleboarding for TYC Members

The club has  six paddleboards (4 inflatable and 2 green rigid boards) these are stored at the top of the slipway in the lower dinghy park.


For use of club paddleboards, follow the annual club equipment protocol, complete, sign and return an annual equipment hire form to prior to using any club equipment.


All members can have 3 free trials of the boards, before an additional annual fee of £50 per person is required. Please make payment to the club subscription bank account with the reference ‘PADDLE’. The equipment form is available here.

  • Submit the form in advance of using the equipment, as this email is managed by a volunteer, and they will authorise your access to the booking sheet.

  • It is essential that members using paddleboards complete this booking sheet (google sheets) by entering all users names in advance of taking club paddleboards out and for the number of hours that you will be using the boards for.

  • At busy times please restrict use to 2 hours.

  • There is also a document to sign, which is stored in the race hut, prior to departing for your paddleboarding trip.

  • After use of the paddleboards, please hose off the equipment and return the fins, paddles and waist straps to the race hut, stack boards in the purpose-built shelving and securely lock them.


The clubs’ paddleboards are strictly for member use only.

As TYC is a members run club, we are always looking for volunteers to support the club with all of its activities, if you would like to represent paddleboarding for TYC please contact the general committee, email is at the base of the news bulletin.
