Racing every Sunday morning, with races starting from 10.30am.
Arrive at 10am for the opportunity to crew in members boats at the helm’s discretion.
​
In the summer months there is racing every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm.
Arrive by 7pm for opportunity to crew. Throughout the season there are a number of trophy races, class open races and competitions and regattas.
Volunteer for duties: To support these activities, a computer system known as Dutyman is used to manage the roster for duties which include Race Officer, Race Officer Assistant, Support Boat and Support Boat Crew. For support boat you must be fit and able, in case rescue is required. Members are expected to volunteer for at least four duties. Training is provided for these roles through the year. Improvers Sailing
A number of informal sailing sessions are scheduled between, April - September. These sessions are led by sailors who have many years of experience under their belts and help sailors who would like to improve and build on their skills. It is also an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Club boats, learn about the tricks for sailing on this stretch of the river, or generally improve your sailing skills and confidence.
